Man, pulling Aglaea back in Version 3.0 felt like hitting the jackpot! First limited Remembrance character? Sign me up! But holy moly, building her has been... an experience. Like, seriously, she makes my other DPS units feel like child's play in comparison. That memosprite mechanic? Cool as heck. Getting her damage output actually good? Total grind fest. It’s like the devs decided to crank the difficulty to eleven just for her. She needs specific stats, specific teammates, and oh boy, that energy cost… but let me walk you through the trenches I’ve been digging in. Buckle up!

Best Aglaea Relics & Planar Ornaments: The Stat Hunt

This is where you’ll spend 90% of your Trailblaze Power, trust me. Farming relics feels like playing the lottery where the jackpot is just usable gear. The Hero of Triumphant Song set is her absolute BiS (Best in Slot, obviously). The ATK, SPD, and memosprite Crit DMG bonuses it gives are pure gold for her kit. It just outshines everything else. If you’re still early game or drowning in Musketeer pieces, Musketeer of Wild Wheat can be a decent placeholder – gives that ATK and SPD boost while buffing her Basic ATK DMG, which is her bread and butter. But seriously, aim for Triumphant Song ASAP.

For Planar Ornaments, it’s mostly about that sweet, sweet Crit DMG. The Wondrous BananAmusement Park is king here, dishing out massive Crit DMG as long as her Garmentmaker is chilling on the field (which it should be!). Need a Pure Fiction specialist? Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation can slap a permanent 40% Crit DMG boost on her for the whole battle, which is kinda nuts. And because our girl Aglaea zooms around the battlefield, Firmament Frontline: Glamoth is also a solid pick for some extra ATK and DMG.

Now, the real headache begins: Stat Priority. Forget ATK ropes – this girl is thirsty. Aglaea is one of the very few DPS characters that absolutely requires an Energy Regeneration Rate Link Rope. Her Ultimate costs a jaw-dropping 350 energy, and you need it up constantly. No ER rope? Good luck. Here’s the breakdown:

Relic Slot Main Stat Priority Sub Stat Priority
Head HP SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK%
Hands ATK SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK%
Body Crit Rate OR Crit DMG SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK%
Feet SPD Crit DMG/Rate > ATK%
Planar Sphere Imaginary DMG Bonus SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK%
Link Rope Energy Regen Rate > ATK% SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK%

SPD is king for subs, followed by Crit stats. ATK% is nice, but secondary. And remember: ER ROPE IS MANDATORY. Don’t @ me.

Best Aglaea Light Cones: Slim Pickings, Dude

my-aglaea-build-journey-relics-teams-that-damn-energy-problem-image-2

Here’s the big oof. Remembrance is still kinda new, so the Light Cone options? Not great, Bob. Her signature, Time Woven Into Gold, is obviously cracked. It feeds her exactly what she craves: SPD, Basic ATK DMG boost, and a truckload of Crit DMG. If you pulled for her, you probably grabbed this too. Lucky you!

For the rest of us peasants:

  • Geniuses' Greetings (4⭐): Offers ATK and Basic ATK DMG. It’s okay, but only if you’ve managed to get it to high Superimposition levels (S3+). Otherwise, it struggles.

  • Reminiscence (3⭐): Yeah, seriously. A 3-star. But here’s the thing: you can easily max superimpose it (S5), and the DMG boost it provides at S5 actually makes it one of her best F2P choices. It’s kinda sad, but true. Embrace the budget life.

  • Sweat Now, Cry Less (Battle Pass): If you shell out for the Gnome Light Pass, this is a viable option. Gives some much-appreciated Crit Rate and overall DMG increase. Solid for low-spenders.

Honestly, the LC situation is her biggest weakness right now. Fingers crossed for more Remembrance options soon!

Best Aglaea Team Compositions: Energy, Energy, Energy!

my-aglaea-build-journey-relics-teams-that-damn-energy-problem-image-3

This is where Aglaea’s infamous 350 energy cost slaps you in the face. You need 100% uptime on her Ultimate to keep the Garmentmaker buffed and stacking that sweet, sweet SPD. Without it? Her damage falls off a cliff. Getting this consistently requires one of two things:

  1. Her First Eidolon (E1): Makes things much easier.

  2. A Whale-Worthy Support Team:

Premium Dream Team:

  • Aglaea

  • Robin (Harmony)

  • Sunday (Harmony)

  • Huohuo (Abundance)

Why this works:

  • Robin & Sunday: Provide instant turns for Aglaea (more buffed attacks!) and crucially, both can generate energy for allies with their Ultimates.

  • Huohuo: Her Ultimate directly feeds energy to the whole team. Lifesaver.

Even with this dream team, nailing the speed tuning between Robin and Sunday to perfectly cycle energy for Aglaea is a relic RNG nightmare. You'll likely still need that ER rope.

F2P Copium Team:

  • Aglaea

  • Remembrance Trailblazer (Preservation)

  • Tingyun (Harmony)

  • Lynx (Abundance) / Natasha (Abundance)

This can function, but it’s rough:

  • Tingyun: Your MVP here. She can funnel energy to Aglaea, but it’s often not enough for true 100% uptime without E1.

  • Remembrance TB: Offers some utility and freeze, but doesn't solve the core energy problem.

  • Lynx/Natasha: Keep everyone alive. Energy? Nah.

The damage output takes a massive hit compared to the premium team, and maintaining that Ultimate uptime consistently is a huge struggle. It feels like playing with one hand tied behind your back. She desperately needs new F2P-friendly supports that directly address her energy black hole.

Aglaea Traces: Unlocking the Memosprite Magic

my-aglaea-build-journey-relics-teams-that-damn-energy-problem-image-4

Aglaea’s trace screen is unique with those extra abilities for her memosprite, Garmentmaker. Here’s the lowdown:

  • Skill/Ultimate: Summon or heal the Garmentmaker. Don’t spam Skill if it’s already out unless it’s nearly dead.

  • Basic ATK: Weak solo hit. But after using her Ultimate? It transforms into a powerful attack where Aglaea and Garmentmaker team up to smash three adjacent enemies. This is her main damage source!

  • Garmentmaker: Takes its own turn to launch a decent AoE attack on three enemies. Passive damage is nice.

  • The SPD Stacking Mechanic: When Aglaea attacks an enemy with Garmentmaker present, it marks them. Attacking this marked target massively boosts the Garmentmaker’s SPD each time. This is HUGE! More SPD = more turns = more attacks = more stacks = even more SPD! It’s a beautiful snowball… but it completely collapses if the Garmentmaker vanishes when her Ultimate buff ends. Hence the critical need for 100% Ultimate uptime. Those stacks aren't just for speed; they ramp up damage significantly for both Aglaea and her spectral buddy.

Trace Upgrade Priority:

  1. Basic ATK: Max this first. It is her damage.

  2. Garmentmaker Abilities (Passive & Active): Level these up next. More damage from the memosprite itself.

  3. Talent & Ultimate: Level these together after the above. Both contribute to the core rotation.

  4. Bonus Stat Nodes: Unlock these ASAP whenever you can afford it! Every bit of SPD, ATK, or Crit helps.

Final Thoughts & Hopium for the Future

Building Aglaea has been a journey, man. It’s tested my relic farming patience to the absolute limit. That SPD tuning? Still gives me headaches. And don’t get me started on seeing her Ultimate gauge crawl along without Huohuo/Robin/Sunday. She feels like a character designed with future support units in mind that just aren’t here yet.

But when everything clicks? When the Garmentmaker is zooming across the field, stacking SPD, and Aglaea is unleashing buffed Basic Attacks constantly? It’s pure, unadulterated dopamine. She shreds through content like nobody's business.

My personal hopium? Version 3.5 or 4.0 brings us:

  • A legitimately good 4-star or craftable Remembrance Light Cone. Please, Hoyoverse!

  • More accessible energy-focused supports that aren't limited 5-stars. Tingyun needs backup!

  • Maybe even an Eidolon rebalance? (A girl can dream…)

She’s high-maintenance, demanding, and honestly a bit broken (in both senses of the word right now). But dang, she’s fun. If you’re up for the challenge and the grind, she’s worth it. Just be ready to pour your heart, soul, and all your Trailblaze Power into her. Good luck out there, fellow Aglaea mains! 🙏
